Over the course of more than a decade Katie has told thousands of stories and has been recognized by he National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Emmy Awards, Associated Press, and Society of Professional Journalists.

Writing, video production, engaging and creating isn't just a "job" for her--it's been a way of life since she received her first Sony Handycam video camera in the fourth grade . More than experience and credentials, she is fueled by a passion to create a superior story for her clients that their audience will remember.

Katie also serves as a media consultant strategist for a number of Seattle area-businesses and hosts an on-camera podcast that shares the startup stories of CEOs and founders within the financial tech industry. She'll be sharing her own stories in "Resilient with Katie Boer", a podcast launching Spring 2021 and in currently working on her first book.

Katie is also a well-known dementia advocate, raising awareness after her mother, Carol, was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia in 2016. Since her mother's death in 2020, she has raised nearly $10,000 for research, funding, and education.

When she's not in-front-of or behind a camera, writing, or podcasting, you can find her kayaking with her golden retriever, Murphy, summiting one of Washington's volcanoes, or training for her next marathon or triathlon. Last year she completed thirteen half marathons in thirteen months and is currently training for Ironman 70.3 Santa Cruz.
